This is not a lounge....

My husband is a painter/decorator, we have our own business, I love colour and interiors and yet our house is such a work in progress.....

We moved into it 8 years ago with great plans to re-paint and wallpaper the interior quickly , but of course that has never happened, and then now with the earthquakes and that damage and all that it entails, things have really slowed down. Dave so busy with other peoples homes that the last thing he wants to do is work on ours!
We did manage to get our master bedroom done last year, and he has started on Ellas room.....
Now last week with the rain it seems that our lounge suffered with soaking thru from the outside into the carpet, that we weren't aware of initially...our slider door has EQ damage and doesn't shut properly which is some of the problem!
Anyway , the room is looking sadder and sadder..I have pulled back the carpet to dry it off , and am waiting for the Insurance people to come around to look early next week hopefully.
In the meantime, Nina and Banjo continue to enjoy it as usual!
P. S This blip was inspired by my friend , blipper Ninjashoe, who also blipped a room in her house .(hers is so much nicer!)
