"Window weather"

Although this was a bright and sunny day the strong wind was blowing from the west and that makes it hard to keep the ski lift open. We call this kind of weather "Gluggaveður" - "Window weather" because the weather looks nicer looking through the window than it really is. They had to stopped the ski lift for couple of minutes due to the wind and I think this poor man was getting very cold.
