Nature's fantastic ornaments

I saw this meadow of crocuses a few days ago and made a mental note to revisit on a later date. I had planned on taking a photo of something else which didn't work out (disappointing) so I took a few snaps of these flowers squeezed in between running errands. I would have much rather taken photos all afternoon! I have to say spring is one of my favourite seasons. I enjoy all of the seasons for different reasons but that feeling you get when seeing young tender life coaxed into being, it makes you feel rejuvenated!
