It's hailing Mum

Today started out with bright blue sky and very mild. However, by the time we had finished breakfast the first bank of dark clouds rolled over and down poured the rain. This pattern continued right up until lunch time, when the blue sky stuck around for a while - to the point where CJ and I decided we should go for a walk outside after lunch.

We had just started getting ready to head out when the next set of dark clouds rolled over. However instead of just rain, this time there was hail and sleet included! This pattern continued all afternoon.

So, CJ and I abandoned the idea of an outside walk and found indoor activities to amuse ourselves! CJ was especially interested in the hail that was hitting the window and spent ages watching the storm.
