City of Literature, Edinburgh, city of my home

There's an empty office building. The windows have been filled with quotations and poetry. The first UNESCO City of Literature in 2004 (we're masters of reinventing ourselves).

It makes it more interesting to walk around Edinburgh when there are surprises like this waiting to catch you unawares when you are weary of shopping. And I can tell you, I was weary of shopping by the time I'd taken this.

I resolve to do no shopping in December, I will have had enough of shops by then.
