Warkworth Castle from Amble Marina

This afternoon we set off down to Newcastle to look at a car we'd found on t'internet, with a view to trading ours in for something a little newer and more reliable.

Having started off later than intended, we then made one of Mr M's short detours "to look at Belford in the sunshine"! And then, after another detour, this time due to an accident on the A1, and sitting in stationary traffic for a while, realised that we wouldn't make it to see the car before the garage closed...

Still, we had a drive round Amble, and pleasant stroll through the Marina. We admired the boats, and Louie made some new friends. Back home via the scenic route - of course!
