Thanks for all your kind comments yesterday! Rather annoying, and I've asked in shops again today, but still no sign.
I'll probably be able to replace it at the end of month... in the meantime WFT has kindly leant me a camera and Shandonner is lending me something more substantial (i'll possibly play with over the weekend) if i feel i can more up to the next level in the camera world
