The Great Marquess

Loco no. 61994, the Great Marquess is making a special appearance this weekend at Keighley and Worth Valley’s Steam Special weekend. This loco, LNER no. 3442, is the only one of the six strong K4 Class 2-6-0 that has survived into preservation , having been bought in the mid 2000s by John Cameron, when the loco was overhauled at Crewe. It has now moved north back to Scotland where it operates special trains on the national rail network.
