Tony

I took the wean and Lola to Bullock Harbour, where we met Tony, a fisherman I've photographed before. He's something of a local star, and I know my cousin has taken his photography students to the fish-smelling little harbour many times and if Tony has been around he's found his way into their images. He's a sweet guy, very patient, gentle and unassuming, and friendly too (he brought me into his hut for a whiskey the last time i photographed him). He has a habit of whistling as he talks, in between the sentences, just a few notes, a tuneful little breeze were blowing between the words.
