World Book Day

Although World Book Day was yesterday, Orla's school did their dressing up today. She wanted to go as a dinosaur, in homage to her favourite book, "How Dinosaurs Really Work". Ed tried to persuade her to go as a doctor, in reference to her body book, but she was having none of it. "I like dinosaurs more than bodies, and the teacher said that adults are not allowed to change the decision. Only children can do the decision." So that was that then.

We were at a bit of a loss as to what we were going to do, and with me being in London with lots on I didn't have many options. Luckily, Auntie Katie came to the rescue. She found a costume in a dressing up shop in Edinburgh and trekked across town to get it. At least by the time Ryan gets to school we will have built up an arsenal of dressing up stuff!
