Party preparation

We did not get off to a good start today. Felix woke at 4 am and would not resettle followed by Oscar screaming for his train at 5 am. If you know me, mornings are not my thing and screaning children are definitely not my thing! The problem with parenting is that you are on call 24/7. There is no off switch when it comes to your children and this has become even more evident with no immediate support from family. One of the big reasons we are moving is to be closer to our families. For them to totally spoil the boys, play silly buggers on the beach and to support us during the tough times.

On a lighter note..... Ruth and I have spent most of the afternoon preparing for Oscar's 3rd Chuggington birthday. You guessed it, more trains! ;-)
