Don't be fooled ...

There were sunny moments today, sunny enough for my sad, spindly little crocuses to open up a bit and look cheerful - but there were also crazy showers of hail and sleet, when the garden shivered under the onslaught. I've just seen on the telly that the south of England was enjoying a temperature of 16ºC this afternoon, but although there was some warmth in the sun the wind here kept it altogether wintry.

Still - there is surely an end to winter soon?
