Gone Fishing

Out for coffee and carrot cake this morning - well, the Cygnet will not allow us not to get him a bit of carrot cake at the garden centre café .............. or to go and look at the fish.

SWMBO and I are going out to wet the heads of a friends twins this evening (with the grandfather and his girlfriend.... not the new twins). Or at least it started as a quick drink but has turned into drinks and food.

And I have just had a surprise visit from somebody who is back from a photographic trip to Glen Coe with some pals (I couldn't go this time). She arrived with a load of wood for me for turning (from one of the guys who also does some turning) ........ and a broken car. It turns out the wind caught the door and damned near ripped it off. So she now has a non waterproof car which may need a new door.
Not a good end to her week.
