Dog Level

This little sandy beach is by the River Bovey as it flows through Parke, a National Trust property. It was a lovely afternoon and I enjoyed my walk there. I was very conscious however that this place is a favourite with dog walkers and as I waited for the seconds to tick by on this long exposure, that at any moment Fido might come leaping over me in to his favourite splashing place. It didn't happen, I'm pleased to say but I'd only have had myself to blame if it had.

After all the long exposure business, in processing I've reintroduced a little water action in the areas further from the camera. It just gives it a bit more life, I think. There's another one here, if you're busting for more.

I'd like to thank you all for getting yesterdays daffs into the spotlight, where it's been for most of the day. I'm not sure how it happened, it didn't have too much action but thanks for your stars, faves etc, I'm not going to question it.

It will probably be a seascape tomorrow as I'm meeting up with the SarumStroller tomorrow at Sidmouth, so looking forward to that.

I hope your all sorted for the weekend, looks like we're in for a bit of reasonable weather and that can't be bad!

David
