DDW's March Vocabulary Challenge Day 7 : Piquant

It was a bit of a grim morning, so I ventured out with the dogs on my own this morning. They did their best to get as mucky as possible and raced around like lunatics.
Back home for a coffee with HV before heading through to Stromness to do a couple of jobs, and collect some venison from Valkyrie.
Home again and I spent a little while sorting out scrap copper and brass, then off to the scrap dealer in town and I came home with a good profit :)
The weather has turned utterly vile - very strong winds and sleet, hail and snow. 40mph was too fast on the way home from town.
Struggling for inspiration on a grim day, so its a little chilli plant, sitting in a brief sunny spell. It has a bit of growing to do...
Looking forward to having Emmy and Noel here for a bit of dinner and a glass of wine this evening...
