DDW's March 2014 Challenge Day 7: Piquant = Spicy, tangy

Today I have experienced the worst day weather-wise in Orkney. Gale blown sleet, hail and snow made for interesting driving but not at all interesting walking. I collected Evie the Wonderdog and her waterproof cape and headed to the shore where we all got battered in the wind and covered in salty sea spray. Goggles would have been a really good idea...

I have since been warming up in the kitchen to prepare dinner this evening for the gorgeous Miss Emmy and Cap'n Silverbeard. I have also quality tested a wee glass of our home made red wine...It's good stuff!
