Ragged Saltire

I don't think I'm making a political statement here. This flag flies over the Bishop's Palace in Kirkwall. The site is run by Historic Scotland but is shut over the winter so I suppose that explains why it hasn't been replaced.

Don't be fooled by the blue skies...today we had 50mph winds, snow, rain and a little thunder and lightning.
