Piquant

Bright sunshine here today but its windy and freezing cold. A day indoors is called for. Just catching up with chores.

Today's challenge word is piquant meaning pungent, tart or spicy in taste, with a kick. Its one of the few challenge words I actually recognise and know the meaning of. I have blipped a spicy snack - M & S Sour cream & chilli lentil curls. I'm not really keen on spicy food - if I have a curry - which is very rarely - I choose the mildest one and I avoid dishes with a lot of chilli in them. These snacks have a bit of a kick but not too much. Only 90 calories per bag. I usually keep my treats for the evening but in the interests of blip I have taken the shot and eaten the snack. Tasty.
