Ground Up: Building the Foundations

It was finally time for the film premiere of our film made for Ground Up, a project based in and with the community in South West Burnley. We've been documenting for the last 9 months, whilst creative collaborators have been working in the area, and community led artist residencies have been taking place. Our 15 minute film is a mix of live action footage and animation, with some of the interviewees and their stories about the area turned into cartoons. It's been a great project to be involved in, and we've met some really lovely residents from Burnley as well as having the chance to work with a whole range of artists. More projects like this one please!
