Red Squirrel Leaping

orange rudder swishing
swaying, setting sail
soft underbelly
skimming the invisible
leap of faith

Ruby ( this shot was from yesterday) was fussing so much and racing higher and higher as I tried to get an image with her flashing orange tail this morning. These leaping snaps are not as good as I wished. In the end, her tail, teeth and the dramatic push off combined with such scolding made me laugh and the shot worked just fine for me. Go large to see her teeth.

This day came in frigid & frosty. It's warming up for the weekend and the change back to Daylight Savings Time as we spring ahead. More storms next week...
