Doha Day 13

World Book Day.
I plan to read a book a week while we're here. These are the first two I have read, and enjoyed. 'Wojtek the Bear' is a true story about a bear who was part of the Polish Army in WWll. He was from Iran and ended up in Edinburgh Zoo. We met Aileen Orr while in Warsaw, talking about her book, so I am pleased to have read it at last.
'Three Men in a Boat" is surprisingly entertaining. Although it was written at the end of the 19th century the humour seems quite modern.
