Bribery

Stickers, essential in the arsenal* of any teacher teaching under-10s. It's amazing how my students conform to gender stereotypes — most of the girls (but not all, thankfully) go for the princess stickers, while the boys almost always go for the cars. As one of my female students told me, 'princesses are for girls'. Hmmm.

* I exaggerate… slightly.
