Buzzard

For those that are starting to think that I am a little OCD with raptors,I should feebly try and refute this, although a flick through my journal may make my case difficult to defend.

Have a look into the eyes of a natural born killer

So today it is such a beautiful day that I decided to go out early and leave work for after lunch - I usually go out at the end of the afternoon, but there is just so much more wildlife around in the mornings.

There were a lot more buzzards around than usual - I counted 8 on my walk, along with both greater spotted and green woodpeckers, kites, herons and lots of water fowl, including the elusive and shy little grebes.
I also got a shot of a bird that I've not seen before - I'll put it on my folio if I get the time - it looks a little like a fieldfare, but I'm not sure what it is.

I am also going to an Internations (network of people from all over the world) photographers get together tonight where we are going to do some light painting on the banks of La Garonne in Toulouse.
