The Shady Nook
Exotic, beautiful and incredibly tough!
These lighter than air specimens, float upon their long, thin horizontal stems reaching out of the shady dried up rockery bed in my garden, in an effort to have the afternoon sunlight nourish and warm them through.
They have flowered once a year for the last ten years through all sorts of extreme conditions.
They are serving as gentle reminders to me today to bloom where I'm planted, be flexible, adaptable and most of all to come out into the light and dance in the sun.
