Mos

Perfect hikingweather today! Rein, Powerplanter and I made a great walk thrue the province of Drenthe and little villages like Oude Molen (Old Mill) and Gasteren (not translatable). Because of all the rain that fell in the past weeks the soil was wet and muddy, so we didn't keep it clean today. I had to dive to the ground a lot of times because of all the interesting things to blip down there..... One of these things was this mos I spotted, called Cladonia coccifera. In Dutch: Rood Bekermos (Red Cupmos). I didn't manage to get a sharp picture of the red so this will have to do.
Tired but happy, it was a lovely day.
