Of things I value and appreciate

Uri Geller

It's at times like these when the world is at the brink of disaster that I appreciate the awesome power of uri the most.
I grew up in the Cold War years of the 70s 80s and can remember the day uri bent a spoon for the Americans, literally the next day the Berlin Wall fell and peace reigned in Europe.
Now with Russia on the brink of threatening a new ice age, it is no coincidence that a softening in their approach comes at the very time that uri has come out of an extended period of mourning for the king of pop (MJ).
Uri's powers have been diminished during this period and the Middle East has suffered as a result but he will soon be doing a tv special to harness our energies for the Ukraine.
