Warm welcome at it's end

This was our last full day in Canada. We left Galliano and travelled back to Vancouver after another morning spent enjoying some peace and solitude on the Island.

We were met at the airport 10 days earlier with this spectacular helium balloon. Still going strong but we decided we had to leave it there rather than take it home with us.

Thanks to the sister and brother-in-law for being such great hosts for out holiday! We had a fantastic time, great sight seeing, delicious food, hilarious chat and much enjoyed relaxation.

Flying home Eastwards was a bit more demanding and after setting off on Wednesday midday Canadian time we were very pleased to be getting into bed at home around 9.30pm UK time on Thursday!
