World Book Day

Drakies school made a VERY last minute decision to participate which meant a note only came home last night (!) to say fancy dress was optional today. I think we did pretty good considering! Dad came and looked after Hugh and the dinner tonight so I could herd cats at the sports centre again. He is very good to us. I gave away our baby cot to a friend today, which is great to pass it on and we definitely have no further use for it and no room to store it for future grandchildren. I noticed though when I carried it out that the top edges of it are covered in tiny teeth marks where they have all stood and chewed their new baby teeth along the edges. It made me a little bit sad to be parting with it.
