The Surveillance Game, London

Day 65 of 365. This scene had the feeling of 1984 to me. With the advent of surveillance cameras and cctv it is very hard to walk through a city without the feeling that you are being watched all the time. In the case of London this is probably not far wrong. I bet on my journey from Victoria to my work place I'm probably filmed many multiple of times without me really being aware of it - we seem to have just accepted this constant surveillance without really thinking about the consequences for our freedoms. It can feel like we're players in some enormous game that we have no control over.
