Smoking

Another Blip idea that popped into my mind just as I finished my evening meal.

Fairly simple shot, the smoke is enhanced by the way it was lit. I had the candle holder set up on the dining table, lit both and turned off the room light. I used the speedlight, set up behind and to the left of the candle holder and triggered by the D700's commander mode.

Then processing in Photoshop, with the addition of a High Contrast (Smooth) layer in Silver Efex and bringing the colour of the candle holder back with a layer mask.
