High spirits, low spirits

Stations are happy hunting grounds for candid photography. As I arrived in Edinburgh Waverley this morning I encountered these two young women braced for the Scottish climate but not looking terribly enamoured with life at this point on their travels. Later, as I approached the barrier to catch the train back to Glasgow, a couple of Scottish football fans emerged all smiles, returning I expect from Poland, where Scotland won a 1-0 friendly victory. They did look pleased with themselves! The individuals in quite different states of mind created an interesting juxtaposition.
