Hospitality!

6th march is our fellowship meeting, the 1st Thursday of the month. This month our usual venue was out of bounds, due to the long awaited rewiring of the church, so we met at a lovely lady's house the one sitting on the floor. Heather has a disabled son and until recently has looked after him at home. She is an inspiration still very active in Mencap. Our charity this year is for our local branch in Croydon, as you can see we are thin on the ground, there were 3 people absent but this still only makes11 of us, so when the raffle and a donation raised £14.00 we thought that was a good start to the charity. We felt as it was 2nd day of lent it was inspiring for us all . Have a good lent all.
