Saint-Gatien Cathedral

Today a trip up to Tours. The management company of Daughters flat need access to it this afternoon.
Apparently there are large holes in the roof. The roof needs mending.
As she is on the top floor the surveyor climbed out of her window to have a look.

Daughter has a flat right under the Saint-Gatien Cathedral. It has been under repair ever since she has been living there. The scaffolding has finally been taken down. I took this photo from her courtyard. She truly sleeps in the shadow of the cathedral.
The other good thing about this flat ids it has parking! Right in the middle of Tours. A 10 minute walk to Uni on the banks of the Loire River.
What more could you want as a student?
