In the 1950's and 60' s this was the place for car rallies with spinning tyres and engines roaring. Perhaps that is why it was known as Test Hill. Now the tyres
find other use. But there is no smell of burning rubber now - nor fortunately of burning fat which now fuels the racing on Test Hill whilst most are still abed !
