A Bit of Blue Sky!

Makes a change from grey and wet weather.

Just watching the news. Just on at the moment is a piece of news about the floods in Sheffield. My thoughts go out to all those people caught up in it. Some have lost their lives.

We are lucky where we live. Stockport is built on hills, the river Mersey would have to reach 20ft at least to flood the town centre, and reach over the Viaduct to reach where we are.

It's a terrible situation in South Yorkshire.

p.s. The lines in the picture are telephone wires, and it was a complete fluke that the plane appears to be in the centre of them.
