skinny love

title is from the song i've had on repeat for a few days. it's so chill and perfect for my mood.

this is my doggie. this is my belle. variations include belle-y, the bellester, the bellymeister, etc.

i love my belle. it's spooky how an animal can read you & your mood. maybe i'm imagining it but when she puts her head on my lap, i can't help but think she understands something.

she's ten now and her age is starting to show. it is seventy in "dog years." she's been a good, good dog. i mean, a dog's a dog. she tears up trash and gets sprayed by skunks but she's my dog. :) she's my doggie.

today was pretty swell. i had a cello group recital where we each played a solo and then we played ensemble pieces. the pieces range from church hymns to led zepplin's stairway to heaven. i know, right?

i came home to work on some college stuffs. i'm way behind and missed deadlines and it's embarrassing hahah. better late then never!

went to take some yearbook pictures at a barnes and noble for our school's robotic team fundraiser. i cheated on borders and bought some books for the cause. they have a used book section! it's so awesome! i almost bought one for $14 and then found the used book section and got 3 books, all priced at 4 dollars! win!

came home, ate some dinner, watched some tv with my belle, and now i'll put some finishing touches to my college essays.

i love the rare productive saturday.
