Hawthorn

Crataegus monogyna. Lots of hawthorns in the hedge but these are the only leaves so far. Appeared yesterday.
Another edible - one nickname for hawthorn is 'bread and cheese tree' but I think I will wait until there are a few more than 6 leaves in the whole lane before I eat them
