Menacing

Well not really as it turned out, they were too busy preening to take too much notice of me as I tiptoed past the gang of swans on the very narrow bit of the canal under the bridge - no place to run, no place to hide! Once safely past, I stopped to snap them. I liked the way this one was performing all sorts of acrobatics to reach those places that other beaks can't get to.

World Book Day today, and a late call to costume which I didn't get. The woes of working part time. Gutted, I like nothing better than an excuse to dress up....

Oh and it turns out I was wrong! Monday's blip is not a R-A-T but thanks to eagle-eyed blipper - a bank vole. Hurrah!!!
