Christmas Parade

Today's parade, like all the others in my town, was a grand party where the children get enough sugar to rot every tooth in their head. Almost every float that passes has a group of people walking with it and throwing candy to the curbs on each side. If you happen to be sitting near the start of the route the people who hand out the candy are fresh and generous.

We were close to the starting line.

What fun it was to watch it all and I had no desire to try to fight the kids for a sweet.
