Mum's Escape

With 13yr old son away on a youth group weekend (the break has been good for us both!), 10yr old son at his friends' for the afternoon, and husband busy decorating, it seemed a good time to sneak away for a mooch around town. The feeling that I was somehow playing truant only added to my enjoyment!
Liverpool is now a lovely city to wander round, made all the more special by the extra festive touches. This big wheel sits at the top of Chevasse Park, towering over the main shopping area.

Truly magical!
