The Gate

After the morning spent at SeniorNet The Boss decided to take me walking round the block. I am never sure what block we are going round but it appeared to be the same block as yesterday ‘Cos he had seen this gate and kinda liked it.
He was playing with his new walking app “The Walk” which is a game based thingie where today he had 24 hours to find 24 sentries and had to walk for 80 minutes to follow the path he outlined to find them. Got that??? NO??? Well join the club. I thought it was more fun to chuck sticks and we went out after grub and did that too. It was more fun for me anyway.
Anyway he completed the task and got the prizes none of which were edible. Really disappointing. I guess the App will think up something else for tomoro. Stay tuned.
The Bossess is currently up in Christchurch where they have had a 1 in 100 year storm. The damage is terrible and Christchurch does not deserve this stuff with extensive flooding and roofs blown off. Being a 1 in 100 year event you can bet what with that climate bloke and his changeable ways there will be another one next year. There is a lot to be said for living in a place that is surrounded by mountains I recon.
