City Skyline

This the view of the Melbourne skyline from our hotel room, taken at 4.30 in the afternoon just as the rowers were hitting the river to commence training - see the rowers a little better in large.

Some of Australia's rowers, such as the Awesome Foursome have done much of their training on the River Yarra. They won gold at consecutive Olympic Games.

On the right hand side of the photo you can see the roof of the Melbourne Convention Centre where we will be spending the next three days. Not on the roof, but working inside!
