My Sister

Today's portrait is my sister. She is my friend, confidante, and a sister who accepts me with all my flaws! The closeness goes far beyond being close in age. Some of you will remember that she is the one who traveled with me to Europe last September.

This was taken on her back deck. She lives in a small community and has a very large yard. There is lots of greenery and plenty of work to keep up in all seasons!

Her smile in this photo says "kindness" to me, and that's who she is - kind and calm and the best older sister anyone could have.
