Hopefully, a sunflower . . . ..

This plant appeared in a pot of other things, and I didn't have the heart to pull it up; it grew pretty fast and has all the emarks of a sunflower - it is tough stemmed, over 3 feet high, leaves about right. I surmise this because I have been feeding the cardinals (and others) black sunflower seeds. Hopefully one seed was bird-dropped and is flourishing - we shall see . . . .. .
