Glass

The glasses in the kitchen sink window are a fine assortment! From 3 hand blown by glass artist Dante Marioni ( who spends summers on their island nearby. He broke a $3 glass of mine and replaced it with 4 exquisite works of art, one of which I broke) to the moose souvenir ( part of the extensive moose collection we haven't encouraged) to the other tall flutes. ( there used to be 4 but the friend who brought them thought they were plastic, threw them in her bag, and amazingly only one broke ). On both sides are another hard to see hand blown reddish glass , a gift from another friend. I like to look at them while doing the dishes but rarely use these.
On the the way home to Seattle -it was a calm day with more weather coming tonite -hence the blip from the iPhone , while there is some time. Might work for the weekly challenge "assortment".

Edit: rain most of the way home. Got stopped at the border, routine computer check, and almost fined $500 for bringing a few cherry tomatoes -but they were from Mexico, not Canada, so "ok". Hard to believe. Learned (again!) not to bring anything questionable!
