On Wednesdays I go to Stratford...
... and walk under this bridge on the way from the tube to college.
It's a pretty desolate bridge really but an attempt has been made to brighten it up with this art installation. It's a series called Stratford Circles, depicting circles that can be found in Stratford, by local artist Rhoda Webb. This one represents the wheels of the shunting engine 'Robert' that stands outside Stratford Station.
The project is quite interesting once you find out what it is but each picture is on a rather tacky laminated poster and some are starting to peel away from the bridge. Added to that, it's situated in a rather unpromising situation where few people are likely to take any notice of it. But it did provide a bit of interest for me today so perhaps all is not lost.
