Aberdeen City Council's finance convener Willie Young has now decided that the proposed six month ban on Alex Salmond from all council premises in Aberdeen is not in place. In a climb down from his unusual proposal to ban Scottish ministers from the local authority’s property Cllr Young had controversially proposed to bring a motion before the council seeking to stop First Minister Mr Salmond accessing land and property amid claims he was “bullying” the city.
