We are a little late on putting his height on for his 3rd birthday. But Mitch officially marked him up last night, just like both of our dad’s did to us growing up.

Miles was making lots of goofy smiles when I was trying to take this photo so I said, “just smile like mama” and he tilted his head down in a little pose just like I do when someone takes my photo! So funny. This kid is observant!
When he stood up straight he measured 3 foot 2”

A few of our favorite current Miles’ sayings:
“last day” - He uses this instead of yesterday. Example “but I had that for dinner last day!”
“maybe tomorrow” – we hear this all the time. “maybe tomorrow I can drive my red car” “maybe tomorrow I can go on an airplane” “maybe tomorrow I can have that cookie?”
“well…but” – part of his negotiation tactic. Dad, “time for bed buddy” Miles, “well, but...I just want to stay up for 1 more minute”
“okay mommy” – anytime he doesn’t like what I tell him to do he sayd “okay mommy” in the saddest little voice you ever heard, in combination with putting his head down and slowly dragging his feet
“but daddy said no” – he’s quite the little tattle tale too when it comes to daddy. “I want to play with my fire truck but daddy said no”
