The end of the Heparin!

Post op day 28. Two mile stones today, it is my last Heparin injection and my last day wearing the pressure stockings. Both are a great relief.

I felt that in view of the importance of the day to me and the fact I am chronicling my recovery the "sharps box" I was provided with for the needles had to be the blip for today. I tried 2 or 3 ideas but this one appealed most.

On the walking front I went with CC to the supermarket (OK just a small one so not too much walking) and on up into town to call at the chemists.
