I love a good painting

In the absence of an outdoor blip, you are getting one of a painting of the River Wye by an artist called George Willis Pryce, that hangs in my living room.

George Willis Pryce was a painter who was born in 1866. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including '3 works: Lakeland ladscape in a valley; Views of wooded country lanes' sold at Bonhams Oxford 'Art & Antiques' in 2012. The artist died in 1949.

I like it, and am glad I rescued it from my aunt who was going to chuck it in the bin about 10 years ago!
